First Ward Building Preservation Project Fundraising Goal Deadline: Help us hit $5,000! We need your help to save a Little Cities Landmark!We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase the historic Ward Building in New Straitsville! The current owner has given us a chance to save the building if we pay off its debts. First Fundraising Goal: $5,000 by Oct.1st This goal allows us to secure the building for future historic preservation and use. We have a plan to restore the Ward Building to its former beauty and re-establish it as a Public Heritage Center. Our plan currently has three parts: LCBD Offices Little Cities would have our permanent offices in the Ward Building Public Archive Little Cities would have our permanent offices in the Ward Building Working Café We are also exploring plans to incorporate Nellie Ward's historic diner as a café.
