We Need Your Help to Save a Little Cities Landmark: The Ward Building of New Straitsville
We Need Your Help to Save a Little Cities Landmark. We have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase the historic Ward Building in New Straitsville! We have a plan to restore the building to its former beauty and make it into a public heritage center, and we need $5,000 to reach our first fundraising goal.

Does anyone know what criteria was used to number the mine in the area. I lived ther from 1951 thru 1959 and knew of mines No. 9,13 15, 17. I know where the NO9 mine was, north of Corning, but only swam in the resivories of the others..
